Get To Know Chandler
If you decide to make Noria your home, or if you already have, it might be nice to know a little about the city you’re living in. Noria, a 36-acre mixed-use project that includes 483 luxury apartment homes, is located in the east-central part of Chandler, a city with agricultural roots that is now known for its high-tech industries.
Chandler is home to 64 parks that serve a population of just over 250,000 people. It’s a family-friendly suburb that knows how to balance business with fun, offering residents a local nightlife hub near its downtown area. The city’s notable tech-industry employers include Intel, Orbital ATK, PayPal and Microchip Technology.
Chandler’s annual Ostrich Festival combines carnival-type rides and food with a parade, live music, pig races and ostrich races. The city is also home to the award-winning Environmental Education Center at Veterans Oasis Park, as well as Tumbleweed Park, a sprawling public park that hosts the Ostrich Festival and the Fourth of July fireworks display.
Noria is within boundary for the top-rated Chandler Unified School District. And, it isn’t far from Chandler-Gilbert Community College and the Chandler Municipal Airport, which sees traffic from smaller aircraft at its two-runway facility.
